What is cineSync?

cineSync was developed to address the issue of remote reviews and approvals, allowing directors, producers and supervisors to perform live run-throughs of work being carried out in another country, another city, or even the building next door, without needing to leave their office. It’s a simple, effective and inexpensive tool for assisting the management of distributed post production projects with a minimum of fuss.

At its core, cineSync is a remote review and approval tool based on Apple ® QuickTime technology. By synchronising the timeline and playback of various media and utilising cineSync’s drawing and text annotation tools, you can quickly and efficiently review your work at the same time with anyone anywhere in the world.

cineSync allows you to annotate directly onto the frame – you can point or circle objects in the frame, draw new elements into the frame and write text notes – all synchronised in real-time with everyone else in your review. You can transfer media for review quickly and easily from within the cineSync interface and export all your saved session information to your project management system, so you can easily keep records of every review.

Its intuitive interface, ease of use and reliability has seen cineSync rapidly adopted world-wide as the industry standard tool for remote review and approval, making multi-facility, multi-country projects truly achievable.

There are two account types: Pro accounts and basic accounts.

• Basic accounts give you the central feature set only - synchronisation, annotation, notes, file transfers.
• Purchasing a cineSync account will allow you to initiate cineSync review sessions.
• cineSync is free to use for anyone that joins your review sessions.
• Accounts are available as monthly, 6 monthly, or 12 month subscriptions.
• You can assign multiple logins to a single cineSync account.
• Account Upgrades are available at any time, and will be effective for the remainder of your subscription period.
