Glossary of Terms

Annotations - Drawings that are added to frames.

Session Owner / Initiator - Term given to the user who starts a cineSync session using a paid cineSync account.

Guest - A user who joins a cineSync session using a session key given from the session owner.

Media Files - The general term for all the different file types that cineSync supports  which includes movie files and still picture files.

Multi-Session - Running two or more different cineSync Pro sessions at a time using the same account (username / password) details.

Offline Session - A cineSync session not connected via the internet to the cineSync servers, involving only one user. (No session key will be shown and no guest will be able to join the session)

Offline License - A license file given to a user to run a cineSync Offline session.

Online Session - A cineSync session running over the internet. (Normally involving 2 or more users).

Session Key - The code given to a session owner to allow guests to join their Online session.
