Play All mode will create an additional "movie" in the Playlist that contains all the clips from the Playlist in a single timeline, allowing you to play through them continuously.

Play All will assemble all the media in the Playlist into a single movie and 'Play All in Current Group' will assemble only the media in the currently active Group.
